SMITH Ian & Jenny

Ian & Jenny have been involved in the work of GLO since 2001. Ian is the Finance Director of GLO and looks after all things financial and oversees the work of the Bookshop and Coffee shop. Ian is also involved in the work of Opal Trust and IBCM.  When Ian is missing from the GLO Centre, it is most likely that he will be in Albania. In Albania he will either be at ‘The Hiding Place’, home for abandoned children in Gjirokaster where he is the director of the board or in Vlore where he visits the church and supports the work of Juli, Ela, Ermal and Denisa.

Ian & Jenny were called to the work of GLO after they both studied the Tilsley College ‘Training for Service’ course, they are grateful for God’s faithfulness and continued grace in their lives.

Outside of work they are both actively involved in their local church and have recently committed to the church revitalisation project at Roman Road Community Church in Motherwell. Ian enjoys being busy and walking to ASDA, Jenny enjoys crafting, cycling, walking and reading.

Ian & Jenny have been blessed with two lovely children, Alice and Matthew.
