MUHAMETI Juljian & Ela

I (Juli) was 14 years old when when he become Christian. Since his family was culturally Muslim, I first read the Koran cover to cover. The god described there seemed cruel and impossible to please. If this was God, i reasoned, it was hopeless to follow him.A friend heard about my search and challenged me to read the Bible, both Old and New Testaments at the same time. In typical teenage fashion, it turned into a race. I loved a good competition and pulled ahead of my friend, but didn’t realize that this was actually a rescue mission. Somewhere in the middle of Exodus and John, God opened my eyes. I (Juli) put my faith in Christ and received the gift of eternal life.

I’m married with Suela and we have two daughters (Amelia 7, Ema 4).

Ela heard about God when she was about 7 yrs. She saw Jesus with the eyes of a child full of love but a bit of knowing the importance of God in Life. The village she lived were all Muslims and they were against her family, threatening them. But God has been showing mercy to her family, at that time, her father took the courage to share his testimony in the middle of the village, since then her family is highly respected, from 1994 -today her father has opened their house for a church home. Ela grow with Gods love and his miricales, by teen age she gave her heart to Jesus. She believes that God has used and moved people that she hears the gospel as the plan of God for her was huge.

Together, me and my wife studied at Tilsley Bible College in Scotland and came back and served in church planting and started a new youth ministry in Vlore. We began to dream of healthy disciple-making youth ministries with the focus to end as a church planting all across Albania, and we are burdened for the millions of young people in our country who do not yet know Christ.
