HALL Chris & Michelle

Chris & Michelle both come from towns around Birmingham, although they met officially for the first time during a GLO summer team in Grenoble, France, where Michelle was assisting a local church in evangelism and discipleship.

Both having a desire to share their faith within the French culture, they decided to take a year out to attend Tilsley College, where they were convinced that the Lord was leading them to France. In 2001 they moved to the Mayenne county to work alongside Christian & Catherine Moreau and Mike & Alison Packer in evangelism and church-planting.

Their ministry is centred around sharing their lives and their faith through musical activities, either in churches, bars, restaurants, associations, etc.  They perform as the duo Liv’in’Proof, or as the extended Liv’in’Proof Family when they are joined on stage by Evie and Luc and other friends, younger and older.  Through the association Musical’âme which they help organise, they lead an English-speaking choir called s[i]nglish, who have regular concerts in and around the area, and are also involved in the leading and organisation of various music and English language workshops for young and old alike.  From time to time they also get the chance to let their hair down and perform as a rock/pop band under the name Everlight’s Keep.

When asked ‘What excites you about your work?’ they replied:
Using our God-given passions to encourage people, who would not generally come to a church service, to consider Jesus.

Hobbies / Interests:
Michelle and Chris have two children, Evelyne and Lucas. Michelle loves singing, writing poems and stories, and Chris loves comics and all things super-hero. As a family they share a love of music, films and books.
