GLO Europe | Growing Mission Focused Churches in Europe

BLAIR Garry & Kim

Motherwell, SCOTLAND

Garry and Kim are first generation Christians from Motherwell. They married in 1995. Soon after Garry’s conversion at the age of 18 in 1990, through Kim’s witness, they sensed the Lord’s calling on their lives. Garry graduated from Tilsley College in 1992 and Kim in 1998. Kim trained as a nursery nurse and worked as a nanny until starting her studies at Tilsley. After working with a local supermarket, Garry moved into full time Christian work, first in GLO’s Christian bookshop for three years followed by 10 years, with Kim, in church planting in the greater Marseille area, France, where two of their three children were born.

In 2008 they returned to Scotland and Garry pursued further studies at the International Christian College, Glasgow and now holds a  BA in Theology with Cross-Cultural studies and a MTh in Biblical Interpretation. Garry is now back at Tilsley College lecturing on all the college programmes. They still maintain some links with France and have developed a growing interest in Eastern Europe. Garry has an extensive itinerant ministry as well as being a teaching elder in New Craig Community Church, Motherwell. Kim continues with ministry to family and some church members. They are passionate about God, the Bible, His church, their three children Amy, Benjamin and Charis, people and church planting.

In their spare time they like to read, think, sleep, eat good French food, visit new places and visit the theatre.

If you would like to follow or support them in their work and ministry, you can find them on facebook or ask for their newsletter by email.
