In addition to our day-to-day sales activities, we have an active programme of special events and author visits for both adults and children. As ‘Scotland’s Leading Independent Christian Resource Centre’, we stock a wide range of products in our shop in Motherwell. We always carry a substantial core stock range of Bibles, books, various media, children’s resources and a huge variety of card and gift items.

We also run a series of special seasonal promotions with features for new product ranges.

As an independent store, we can often source stock at very good prices so look out for some superb bargains, promotional prices and our regular ‘Take Note’ and ‘Kid’s Corner’ ranges that often feature exciting new titles with introductory offers.

We seek to serve everyone we have contact with at The GLO Bookshop with courtesy, dignity and respect. As a specialist Christian resource retailer, we cater for wide range of customers as well the local church community.

We also help customers through Scotland and all over the world through our online store and mission contacts.

We have a particular focus on children, with a well-stocked children’s section.

We welcome kids of all ages to browse around and have fun with our range of children’s Bibles, books, music, DVD, teacher’s resources, toys, gifts, puzzles, Sunday school curriculum, puppets and much, much more!

Awards

The GLO Bookshop is 'Scotland's Leading Independent Christian Book Shop'. The range of stock, facilities for local churches and excellent customer service has been recognised by Christian Resources Together with the award of Large Independent Christian Bookshop of the Year in 2002, 2010 and 2019. (CRT are an umbrella group of booksellers, publishers and distributors in the UK). One of our younger members of staff, Miriam Mathie, was recognised as a James Patterson Young Bookseller of the Year in 2019.
