Alumni
It’s always good to get news about what changes have taken place since you were at Tilsley! It also encourages us as a staff to hear how you are progressing. Do keep in touch and if we can be part of your spiritual growth and changes as well as your family and circumstance changes then we’d love to help!
By keeping us informed of life after Tilsley it also lets others – either in your peer group or since you graduated – know what possibilities exist for further study, jobs etc.
If we have your details and you become part of the LinkedIn Tilsley Community, then you could find that there are former Tilsley students near you who could partner/mentor/befriend you or inform you of nearby conferences/ upcoming events and the like. It also means we have a good base of people to inform of things happening at the College or College-related regional activities.
For a while now we have had a Facebook page exclusively for former students. It is a great forum for sharing thoughts, memories, encouragement and ideas and is a quick and easy way to stay in touch! As well as looking and liking, this page works best when alumni add their thoughts and comments.
All our staff members live by faith and support themselves through the gifts of other Christians, trusts and churches. They would never seek practical help themselves but if you feel you could make a small, regular contribution or a one-off gift then contact the College for further details.
Alternatively, having benefitted from the Tilsley studies yourself, you may want to think about sponsoring a student who is not in a position financially to follow the programme. Again, we would ask you to contact the College and arrangements can be put in place.
The College operates a Bursary & Donations Fund whereby, at the discretion of the College Council, some students may qualify for funding towards their College fees. This is kept going by the generous donations of trusts and individuals. Knowing from your personal experience how much difference studying at Tilsley makes, why not prayerfully consider donating to this vital Fund?
