Stephen and Debbie McQuoid are from Ireland and Wales respectively. Stephen joined the work of GLO in 1990 working on the staff of Tilsley College while Debbie joined two years later to become part of the church planting team in Viewpark. Life has developed for them both since and now Stephen serves as General Director of GLO and is on the Boards of a number of other Christian organisations. They have three children; Karis, Taylor and Jamie.
